Houston SEO: New Changes for Adwords

0
0

Houston SEOAdwords is an advertising service offered by the search engine giant Google. Houston SEO companies, as well as millions of others located throughout the world, use Adwords to display their ads on Google’s advertising network. This program allows businesses to enjoy low-cost advertising options because they only have to pay when users click the ads. The ad service is highly influenced by the use of keywords.

Recently Google has confirmed that there will be some major changes with their Adwords program beginning in late May. Along with an updated user interface, Google has also announced that Adwords will also have a brand new design language that will allow the program to be more compatible with other Google applications such as Maps and Gmail.

Changes To Expect From Google Adwords

New User Interface

The brand new user interface for Google Adwords promises to be easier to navigate, which is great news for Houston SEO experts. The new chart will show the number of clicks by the time of day for each day of the week that the ads are scheduled to appear, with all excluded hours showing up in gray. This redesign should translate without issue to all devices, making it easier than ever before to get access to your Adwords tallies for the day.

New Design Languageweb-Design

The user interface for Adwords will be built with Material Design. This is the same design language that Google uses for many other applications such as Google Maps and Gmail. This new redesign process which is overseen by Adwords project manager, Paul Feng, should take around 12 to 18 months to complete.

Desktop Search Results

The changes to Adwords will affect how desktop search results show up on Google.com and other search partners. Once the changes go into effect, there will no longer be any text ads on the right rail of the search results. Google will serve four text ads instead of three in the main area above organic listings and there will be three text ads that show up at the bottom of all SERPs. The total amount of text ads that will show up on a SERP will go from 11 to a maximum of only 7.

Highly Commercial Queries

Google stated that for all highly commercial queries, four ads may show up instead of the usual three. This means that all search queries that Google suspects will lead to an actual purchase will be considered a highly commercial query and therefore will have more ads associated with each search in order to promote sales for all business owners who use the Adwords program.
